Magnetization direction
Generally, disk and cylindrical magnets can be magnetized axially or radially.
Block magnets are defined by three dimensions: length, width and thickness. For consistency, we define the thickness dimension along the magnetization axis. Thickness is usually the smallest size, but not always!
Ring magnets can be magnetized axially or radially.
Arc segment magnets can be magnetized in one of four directions.
