How is the magnetic field of the ring magnet distributed?
The magnetic field distribution of the ring magnet is: the space inside the ring still belongs to the external magnetic field distribution range, and some magnetic lines of induction connect the magnetic poles on both ends through the inner hole of the magnetic ring.
1. Brief introduction of magnet:
Magnets are substances that can attract or repel each other. If small molecules inside an object can be arranged in the same direction, it will become a magnet. The composition is that the atomic structure of iron, cobalt, nickel, etc. is special, and the atom itself has a magnetic moment, and the molecular arrangement of these minerals is generally chaotic. Magnetic regions cannot show magnetism if they interact with each other, but under the guidance of an external force (such as a magnetic field), the molecular arrangement tends to be the same, and it shows magnetism, which is commonly known as a magnet.
2. Magnetization of the magnet:
Most magnetic materials can be magnetized to saturation in the same direction, which is called the "magnetization direction" (orientation direction). Magnets without orientation direction (also called isotropic magnets) are much weaker than oriented magnets (also called anisotropic magnets).
3. Types of magnets:
Soft magnets include silicon steel sheets and soft magnet cores; hard magnets include alnico, samarium cobalt, ferrite and neodymium iron boron. Among them, the most expensive is samarium cobalt magnets, and the cheapest is ferrite magnets. The highest performance is NdFeB magnet, but the most stable performance and the best temperature coefficient is AlNiCo magnet. Users can choose different hard magnetic products according to different needs.
When we talk about magnets, we generally refer to permanent magnets.
